Leigh R. Bolton, age 86, died at Fremont Area Medical Center Monday December 5. He was born April 16, 1925 at Benedict, Nebraska where he was raised and graduated from Benedict High School in 1942.He owned Bolton Truck Line in Stromsburg before moving to Fremont in 1956.He worked for South Omaha Supply selling animal health products until his retirement in 1996.Leigh was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Fremont.

Leigh Bolton married Marjorie E. Doremus August 10, 1947 at Benedict, Nebraska.

He is survived by his wifeMarjorie, one son Gary Bolton (wife Denise) of Fremont, one brother Dean Bolton of Stromsburg, Nebraska, one sister Leora Law of Kansas City, Kansas and his granddaughter Lindsey Mannel (husband Chris) of Norfolk, Nebraska.He also has 3 great grandchildren and was preceded in death by one sister Bernice Davis.

Services will be Saturday December 10, at 10:00 A.M. at the First United Methodist Church.Rev. Ron Croom officiating.Visitation will be Friday from 3:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Dugan Funeral Chapel with the family present from 6:00 to 8:00.There have been memorials established to the Fremont Public School Foundation and the Fremont Area Medical Center Foundation.Condolences may be left at www.duganchapel.com.
