Letha L. "Lee" Warrick, 82 of Fremont died Wednesday, March 1, 2006 at Fremont Area Medical Center. She was born October 18, 1923 at Inland, Nebraska to Ward and Heneretta (Bartlett) Hartzell. The family moved to Giltner, Nebraska where she graduated from high school. She moved then to Hastings, and worked before moving to Fremont in the early 1940's. She married Richard "Dick" Warrick, June 23, 1946 in Hastings. He preceded her in death August 30, 1983. She worked for the Mead Ordinance Plant and Metz Distributing Company before becoming a mother and full time bookkeeper for the family business in Fremont and Norfolk until 1999. She was a faithful member of St. James Episcopal Church, where she served as President of the Women, President and treasure of St. Mary's Guild, and active in the church's Christian education, Vestry and Holiday Bazzar. She was a loyal member of the Nickerson schuffle board team, before forming her own team out of "The Sportsman" in Fremont, and served as captain-Mom. Survivors include: Son, Richard "Steve" (wife Cindy) Warrick and their three sons, Matthew, Nathan and Philip, all of Florida. Daughter Cathi (Terry Andrews) Vyhlidal of Ames, and her son Richard Vyhlidal of Glenwood Springs, Colorado. Sister Dorothy Happold of Aurora, Nebraska. Many nieces, nephews and friends. Also preceding her in death were her parents, one brother, and three sisters. The memorial celebration of her life will be at 10:00 A.M., Friday, March 31, 2006 at St. James Episcopal Church in Fremont with the Rev. Ron Wiley officiating, with luncheon to follow.
