Linda Diane Reimers Simonson, 71

Died Friday, August 5 at Tabitha Health in Lincoln.She was born May 14, 1945 to John and Louise Reimers.Linda was raised in Fremont and graduated from Fremont High School in 1963.She moved to Omaha in 1976 and then to Lincoln in 2010.

She is survived by two daughters Shelley Bruner Ames (husband Shannon) of Colcord, Oklahoma and Rene' Essink of Gretna, Nebraska; two sons; Martin Bruner and Shane Simonson both of Omaha;two sisters Nancie Ninneman of Lincoln and Bonnie Hula (husband Robert) of Clarksville, Arkansas, four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be at Memorial Cemetery Wednesday August 10 at 11:00 A.M.Rev. Rob Scofield officiating.Visitation will be at Dugan Funeral Chapel Tuesday from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. with the family present from 6:00 to 8:00.A memorial has been established to the Fremont First Baptist Church.
