Luetta R. Skibstead, age 70 passed away at Fremont Area Medical Center Tuesday, October 16, 2007. She was born August 25, 1937 in Chambers, Nebraska. She attended Beemer High School and graduated in 1955. Following high school she worked for Campbell's Soup Company for 12 years, Murphy's Motel for 7 years, and later in the Dodge County Hospital dietary department for 17 years. She was very active at the Community of Christ Church teaching both Sunday school and Vacation Bible School. She was also active as a Church Women's Leader and a member of the Adoptive Mother's Club. Luetta Coon married Stanley Skibstead September 12, 1959 at Fremont. He died December 4, 2000. Survived by: Daughter Ruth (Boss) Skibstead of Fremont Son Steven Skibstead of Fremont Sisters Ila June (Galen) Brunner of Morra Bay, CA and Doris (Ron) Gould of Independence, MO. Brother Dale (Nancy) Coon of Lee's Summit, MO. Many nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral Services will be Friday at 1:00 P.M. at Dugan Funeral Chapel. Steve Hoban officiating. Visitation will be 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Thursday at Dugan Funeral Chapel. There has been a memorial established to Care Corp. Interment in Pohocco Lutheran Cemetery Dugan Funeral Chapel 721-2880
