Fremont

Died at A.J. Merrick Manor Wednesday night, March 6. She was born at Comstock, Nebraska December 6, 1913 where she was raised and graduated from Comstock High School. She lived on a farm near Sargent, Nebraska, in South Sioux City, Iowa and Tekamah, Nebraska prior to moving to Fremont in 1944.

She was a member and past President of PEO chapter AJ, a member of the Lewis and Clark Chapter of DAR, and a Gray Lady at Fremont Area Medical Center for over 25 years. Mae was also a member of the Presbyterian Church and was an accomplished pianist and violinist.

Mae Granger married Robert Voss September 20, 1936 at Callaway, Nebraska. He died May 14, 1996.

She is survived by three daughters, Harriet Zimmerman of Rochester, New York; Linda Williams (husband David) and Nancy Hass (husband Wally) both of Fremont; and one son Robert Voss Jr. (wife Jini) of Spirit Lake, Iowa. There are 10 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.

Services will be Monday March 11 at 11:00 A.M. at the Presbyterian Church. Rev. Jon Ashley officiating. The family will greet friends at Dugan Funeral Chapel Sunday from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M.
