Marcia R. Sondergard's Obituary
Marcia R. Sondergard, age 62, of Fremont, passed away Friday, July 22, 2011, at Bergan Mercy Hospital in Omaha.
Marcia was born January 5, 1949 in Fremont to Robert and Gloria Sondergard.She was a resident with ENCOR in Blair and Fremont.She worked in housekeeping at the Comfort Inn and later at ENCOR's Industrial Training Center.She enjoyed bowling, gardening, and trips with her friends.
Marcia was a member of St. Timothy Lutheran Church in Fremont and was active in the Special Classes Sunday School and choir.
Survivors include her sister Karen Stieren of Lakewood, Colorado.Brothers Michael and Roger Sondergard of Grand Junction, Colorado; longtime roommate Rhonda Hoback and guardians Dr. Bob and Sue Roesch of Fremont.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A celebration service for Marcia Rae Sondergard will be Wednesday, July 27, 2011, at 10:30 AM at St. Timothy Lutheran Church.Pastor John Plowman will be officiating.
The guardians will receive friends Tuesday, July 26, 2011, from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Dugan Funeral Chapel.
Memorials may be directed to St. Timothy Special Classes.
