Margaret E. (Torchy) Ramuta, 86
Fremont
Passed away at Nye Point Wednesday morning, September 12. She was born in Winegar, Wisconsin June 9, 1926 and graduated from Hurley High School in 1942. She lived in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin for 37 years and then moved to Manitowish Waters, Wisconsin for 18 years before moving to Fremont in 2005.
Margaret Trier married Robert Ramuta in Hurley, Wisconsin August 16, 1947.
She is survived by five daughters Mary Pitt (husband Jon) of Fremont, LuAnn Paquette of Muskego, Wisconsin; Lynn Miller of Lincoln; Sue Ramuta and Laura Demski (husband Brion) of Waukesha, Wisconsin. Five sisters, Lou Semo of Ironwood, Michigan; Jean Pavlovich of Flint, Michigan; Tisha Leinon of Hurley, Wisconsin; Molly Backlund of Newark, Ohio; Susie Caruso of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. There are eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Margaret was preceded in death by her husband Bob in 2007,one son Bobby Ramuta, and five brothers.
Services will be Friday at 10:30 A.M. at Dugan Funeral Chapel. Rev. James Keiter officiating. There has been a memorial established to St. Jude's Research Hospital. Further services and interment will be held in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin. Condolences may be left at www.duganchapel.com
