Margaret M. Wade, age 98, of Fremont, passed away Monday, April 9, 2018, at Nye Legacy.

Margaret was born July 16, 1919, to Adolph and Amelia (Kay) Bichel in Wakefield, Nebraska. She attended and graduated from Wakefield High School. She married Chet M. Wade on September 24, 1955, in Columbus, Nebraska. Margaret was employed by Northwestern Bell Telephone company where she worked for over 20 years, first as an operator, then as office staff.

She was a member of the Fremont Presbyterian Church, and the Presbyterian Women church circle. She enjoyed getting together with her telephone 'gals' and had quite the collection of 'Salt and Pepper" shakers. Above all, she enjoyed the time she got to spend with her family.

Bichel (Robert) of Olathe, KS, cousin Lois (Ed) Kemble of Lincoln, NE, nieces and nephews Steven (Susan) Bichel of Greenville, SC, Jeff Bichel of Houston, TX, Mark (Vicki) Bichel of Overland Park, KS, Susan (Tony) Goodbar of Simpsonville, SC, Karen (Stephen) Gradwohl of Lenexa, KS, Doris (Keith) Nieman of Fremont, NE, Ronnie (Rayola) Riley of Fremont, NE and many great nieces and nephews and distant cousins.

Visitation will be held at 12 noon on Friday, April 13, 2018 at Dugan Funeral Chapel. Funeral service will be at 1PM, Friday, April 13, 2018, at Dugan Funeral Chapel.

Burial will be held at Memorial Cemetery.
