Marjorie E. Kundy, age 90, passed away Saturday, February 20, 2010 at Valhaven Nursing Home in Valley.

She was born in Omaha to Harry and Esther (Nisley) McCracken on February 10, 1920. She attended Central grade school and graduated from Central High School in 1939. She married Dean McDowell and they had a daughter. Dean died in the Battle of Normandy.

Marjorie and her mother moved to Fremont in 1952 where she met and married August Lundstrom in 1953. August passed away in 1966 from cancer. She later married Stanley Kundy who passed away in 1977.

Marjorie dedicated her life to taking care of her family and her daughter Esthermarie.

Graveside services will be held at 11:30 AM Wednesday, February 24, 2010 at Ridge Cemetery.

Chaplain Scott Jensen will be officiating.

Dugan Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
