Marjorie D. Stephens of Fremont, age 92, passed away Sunday, November 17, 2013, at Nye Legacy Nursing Home in Fremont.

Marjorie was born January 23, 1921 to John Everett and Mary (Jamieson) Weart in Brandon, Iowa.She graduated from Cornell College, Mt. Vernon, Iowa in 1942.At Cornell she met her husband Norman E. Stephens whom she married March 28, 1943.At the end of the war they moved from the East Coast to Loup City, where Norman practiced law and they raised their family.Norman died in 1990 and Marjorie relocated and made Fremont her home in 2002.
