Martin John Schwanke Jr., age 65, passed away Saturday, November 10, 2018, at Madonna Rehab in Lincoln.

Martin was born in Fremont, Ne, and resided in Lincoln, Ne, for the past 36 years.Martin was a proud Vietnam Veteran, a loving father and dedicated husband.Martin enjoyed playing pool, golfing and spending time with his family, especially during the 4th of July.

Preceded in death by his parents Martin and Charlene Schwanke and mother-in-law Doris McDonald.

Survived by his wife of 36 years Carmen; Daughters Emily and Jamie; Grandchildren Trenton, Bryanna, Janaya, and B.J.Brother Chuck; Sisters Jeannie, Billie and Tina.

Visitation: 4:00 - 8:00 PM Tuesday, November 20, 2018, at Dugan Funeral Chapel. Visitation will continue 1 hour prior to funeral service on Wednesday.

Funeral Services: 11:00 AM Wednesday, November 21, 2018, at Dugan Funeral Chapel.Pastor Scott Jensen will be officiating.

Burial will take place at Omaha National Cemetery at a later date.
