Mary Louise Mastera Hammond, age 71, passed away Friday, December 18, 2015,
She attended Fremont High School. Mary was a homemaker. She worked for the Fremont Tribune and Hellstar Snowmobiles. She had her own house cleaning business until she became ill.
Mary was an avid horse rider and spent many hours with her horses. She enjoyed her bible study group at Fremont Church of the Nazarene.

Mary was raised in Fremont, Nebraska and resided in Mead, Nebraska for the past 55 years. She married Lyle Hammond on April 28, 1960 in Blair, Nebraska. Together they took numerous trips to Colorado, Israel, as well as multiple cruises.

Mary is proceeded in death by her parents Frank Mastera and Alma Watt Mastera.

Mary is survived by her husband Lyle; Children Gayle (David) Crull of Fremont, Karen Uettwiller (Mitchell Bridges) of Fremont and Laura Hammond of Wahoo; 5 grandsons Jeremy (Jennifer) Archer, Daniel (Patricia) Newcomer, Jr, Patrick Newcomer, Kevin Crull and Zachary Crull. Six great grandchildren Joseph, Jonathan, James and Jake Archer, Ariel Newcomer and Hailey Newcomer.

Visitation will be at Dugan Funeral Chapel on December 22 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. with the family being present from 6:00 to 8:00.

Funeral Service will be at the Fremont Church of the Nazarene on December 23 at 10:30 a.m. with visitation one hour before the service. Private burial service at a later date at Ridge Cemetery.

Visitation will be at Dugan Funeral Chapel on Tuesday, December 22 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. with the family being present from 6:00 to 8:00.

Funeral Service will be at the Fremont Church of the Nazarene on Wednesday, December 23 at 10:30 a.m. with visitation one hour before the service.
