Mary Beno Lawrie

July 15, 1943 – February 12,2023

Mary, age 79 passed away Sunday, February 12, 2023 in Fremont, Nebraska following complications from a ruptured appendix.

She was raised in Council Bluffs, Iowa.  Mary attended St. Partrick's grade school and Duschene Academy in Omaha.  She attended the College of St. Teresa in Winona, MN and Parsons College where she was a member of AOPi Sorority.  She was A Princess of Aksarben in 1963. Mary was an avid horsewoman and dog lover.  After college she worked in reinsurance for Central National Insurance Co. most of her professional life. Mary married Derek Lawrie September 15, 1979.

She is survived by her cousins, Patty (Jim) Manhart, Marty ( Al) Burchett, Jim ( Jane) Beno,  Trudy Beno and Carolyn Beno.

No Funeral services as per Mary's wishes.
