Matthew M. "Bucky" Timm, age 38, of Arlington, passed away April 25, 2017 at his home surrounded by his family.

Bucky was born January 4, 1979, to Mike and Janet Timm in Blair, Nebraska.He graduated from Yutan in 1997.He was a graduate of Midland Lutheran College.

He married Amanda Hamre on June 6, 2009, in Arlington.They had two daughters Emme and Finley.

During college he worked for Kasper Tree Farm.For the past 8 years he has been employed at 3M.

Bucky was passionate about baseball and enjoyed playing throughout college.He most recently played with the Arlington Spartan Baseball Town Team.

Bucky enjoyed landscaping, baseball, golfing, fishing, and spending time with family and friends but the loves of his life were his wife and two daughters.

He was preceded in death by his father Mike Timm and his maternal grandparents Rosalie and Robert Lerch

He is survived by his wife Amanda, Daughters Emme and Finley, Mother Janet; Brothers Dusty (Charissa) Timm, Cory Timm; Grandparents Auggie (Barb) Timm; Sister in law Ashley Meyer and brother in law Adam Hamre; Mother and Father in law Scott and Pam Hamre; Nephews Tanner Meyer and August Timm and Niece Johnee Timm, as well as many other family and friends.

Memorials may be given to the Matthew Timm family or the Arlington Education Foundation.

Memorial Services: 10:30 AM Friday April 28, 2017, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Arlington.Pastor Rick Kanoy will be officiating.
