Michael "Mike" J. Cook, age 61, of Scribner, NE, passed away on March 30, 2017 at University of Nebraska Medical Center.

Mike was the son of Merle and LaDonna Cook, born on August 3, 1955 in Nebraska City, NE.He graduated from Fremont Senior High School in 1973. His passion was his job as a Power Lineman which took him to many places across the country to help restore power during storms.He enjoyed riding his Harley and golfing whenever he had the chance.Mike took great pride in watching his children play sports.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Mary of Scribner, son Josh of Waterford, Wisconsin; daughter Jamie (Ben) Adler of Fremont; his son Joey (Andrea) Cook of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; his sister Denise Hughes and his grandchildren Mark, Wyatt and Sam, and nephew Robb.
