Mildred R. Andreasen, 85 of Fremont NE., went to be with the Lord on December 31, 2009 at the Village Manor Living Center in Lincoln NE. She was born September 25, 1924 to Pelham and Pearl (McElwain) McGee.
She graduated from Fremont High School in 1942. She married the love of her life, Stanley Andreasen on September 30, 1945. They celebrated their 63rd anniversary together at the Village Manor Living Center in Lincoln on September 30, 2008. Stanley recently went to be with the Lord on September 9, 2009.
Mildred was a lifelong member of the First Baptist Church of Fremont, and a member of the Naomi Circle. She loved to play cards, especially bridge, with her many friends.
She is survived by her sons' Dave (wife Marilynn) of Lincoln, Steve (wife Sharon) of Cherokee Iowa, Doug (wife Di) of Knoxville Tenn; 6 Grandchildren and 10 Great- grandchildren; 2 brothers, Bernard (wife Donnette) McGee of Omaha, Richard (wife Karen) McGee of Fremont, Sister Marilyn (husband John) Mitchell of Fremont; Sister-in-laws Deloris McGee, Jeanet McGee, and Marge Andreasen all of Fremont. She was preceded in death by her husband Stanley, her parents Pelham and Pearl McGee, and 2 brothers Clifford McGee and Gordon R. (Bob) McGee.
Visitation: Friday, January 8, 2009, 4-8 PM with family present at 6 PM, at Dugan Funeral Chapel in Fremont.
Funeral Services: Saturday, January 9, 2009, 10:00 AM at First Baptist Church in Fremont.
Interment: Memorial Cemetery in Fremont.
