Mildred M. Gilman, 87

Fremont

Died at her home in Fremont Saturday morning. She was born at Wagner, South Dakota April 30, 1924 and moved to Norfolk, Nebraska as a teenager where she attended Norfolk High School. She moved to Fremont in 1952. Mildred Gullicksen married Franklin Gilman at Pierce, Nebraska July 25, 1942. He died in 2002.

Mildred was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and the Ladies Aid.

She is survived by three daughters, Mary Butterfield (husband Carrol) and Betty Tabor (husband Robert) both of Fremont, and Lois Parris of Buckeye, Arizona. One brother Lawrence Gullicksen of Bremerton, Washington, 7 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by one grandchild and eleven brothers and sisters.

Services will be Wednesday at 11:00 A.M. at Trinity Lutheran Church. Rev. Daniel Heuer officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 3:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. with the family present from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. There has been a memorial established to Trinity Lutheran Church.
