Nile Oscar Walther
Nile O. Walther, 79 Bloomington, Minnesota Died at his home in Bloomington Saturday, May 9.
He was born July 17, 1929 in Wahoo, Nebraska and moved to Fremont with his parents graduating from Fremont High School in 1947. He graduated from the University of Nebraska and then worked as a store manager for Gamble Skogmo for 12 years in Nebaska and Texas. He was a Sales Manager and Regional Controller for Gamble Skogmo for 29 years in Iowa, Wisconsin, and Minnesota.
Nile was a member of the Nebraska National Guard and entered Fremont Lodge #15 A.F. & A.M. over 50 years ago.
Nile Walther married Ardith Carter June 12, 1952 at York, Nebraska. Survived by: Wife Ardith 2 daughters-Linda Severson (husband Scott) of Madison, Wisconsin and Sandra Richardson (husband Dave) of Hudson, Wisconsin 1 son-Jeffery Walther (wife Laura) of Wausau, Wisonsin He was preceded in death by his parents Nile and V. Pearl Walther, brothers Noris and Bill, and a sister Mary Uehling.
Masonic Graveside services by Fremont Masonic Lodge #15 A.F. & A.M. will be Wednesday at 3:00 P.M. at Sunset Cemetey in Wahoo. There will be a visitation at Dugan Funeral Chapel from 1:00 P.M. to 2:30 P.M. at Dugan Funeral Chapel. A memorial has been established to the Friendship Village Foundation in Bloomington, Minnesota.
