Norman C. McIntosh, age 85, of Fremont, passed away, Friday, October 02, 2015 at Nye Legacy in Fremont.
Norman was born March 25, 1930, to Thomas and Angie (Cleveland) McIntosh in Broken Bow, Nebraska. After high school he joined the Air Force, serving in Korean War with a variety of duties including the Air Force Band. After returning home from service, he enrolled at the University of Nebraska at Lincoln where he earned both Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Music Education. He went on to teach in several Nebraska communities including Polk, Loup City, Holdrege, and Raymond Central schools.Norman took a ten year break from education to work for AAL insurance and then finished up his career in education teaching once again at Dunning and St. Paul before retiring.
Norman was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church where he served as an elder and usher.Norman had a passion for fishing, boating and family.
He is preceded in death by his wife Janice and parents.
He is survived by his daughters Kathryn (Jim)McKain of Omaha, Beverly (Tony) Bobbett of Fremont, Julie (Richard) Mattson of Chicago, Illinois, son Norris McIntosh of Lincoln, sister Kathleen Berkey of Davenport, brother Thomas (Karen) McIntosh of Longmont, Colorado, 10 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.

Memorial Services will be held Friday, October 23, 2015 at 10:30A.M. at Trinity Lutheran Church.

Inurnment will be held at Douglas Grove Cemetery, in Comstock, Nebraska.
