Patricia Ann (Mauk) Grisham was born on February 21, 1935 in Augusta, Kansas to parents Russel K. and Hazel Mauk.She entered into her new life with Jesus Christ on May 21, 2017 in Omaha, Nebraska.

Pat grew up in Augusta, Kansas and graduated from Augusta High School in 1953.Soon thereafter she would begin what would become a long and illustrious career at the Boeing Company in Wichita, Kansas.

Pat married William R. (Bill) Grisham on July 6, 1957 and they established their household in Wichita, Kansas.With Pat's help, Bill would own and operate several businesses in Wichita including a car dealership and several restaurants.They had two children, one daughter, Kimberly Ann Grisham-Patterson, now living in Minnesota, and one son, William Kent Grisham, Sr. of Omaha, Nebraska.She would have four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren before her death.

A pioneer of sorts, Pat would become one the first women ever employed by Boeing in the professional position of Draftsman in the engineering section.A gifted artist and technical drawer, along with expertise as a calligrapher, Pat took tremendous pride in her work and career at Boeing.Her tenure with the company would total nearly 30 years.During that time, her signature would end up being affixed to the technical drawings of virtually every airplane system built by the company from the B-47 and B-52, the shuttle carrier 747, and even the currently-flying Air Force One, and many other models.Upon her retirement in May, 1995, it was said that Pat was the last draftsman in the company who could still complete her work using only a few artist's pens and an Exacto knife.

Pat and Bill were very politically active and both held high offices in the political party organizations. Pat managed several successful campaigns for candidates in county and legislative races.She also was elected Precinct Committee Woman in Sedgwick County, Kansas.They were also active in Masonic organizations.Pat held high office in Eastern Star and Daughters of the Nile and they were active parents in Rainbow Girls and DeMolay for Boys. Pat was also President of the PTA at College Hill Elementary School.

After Bill's death in July, 1995, Pat would eventually move to Fremont, Nebraska to be nearer to Kent and his wife, Suzanne. While in Fremont, Pat became very active in the community. She made many great friends in the Fremont Kiwanis Club, and volunteered for leadership positions with the Fremont Art Association.

The family moved to the Elkhorn and Omaha areas where Pat would continue to be indispensable in the family's life after the death of Suzanne in 2005.Ever active, however, Pat would continue her volunteerism at the Art Association, actively participating in several Booster Club activities at both Elkhorn High School and Elkhorn South High School, and through many days of cooking and serving at her church – she would continue such volunteerism throughout the rest of her life.Ever restless and anxious to do more, Pat would also go on to take on a part-time job serving the students at several Elkhorn Public Schools as a member of the cafeteria staff – a job she would hold until the end of her life.

The final years of her life also included a rich and active membership in an organization she truly came to love, Relevant Community Church in Elkhorn. At Relevant she would volunteer at Vacation Bible School and Youth United.Many people at the church would become part of her ever increasing number of adoptive kids and grandkids, with many calling her Grandma Pat, or more commonly, just Gran.Nothing ever honored her more.

Besides her husband, Bill, and daughter-in-law, Suzie; Pat is preceded in death by her father, Russel K. Mauk.She is survived by daughter, Kimberly; son, Kent and his wife, Tracey Grisham; grandsons Michael Alexander Patterson of Minnesota and William Kent Grisham, Jr. of Omaha; granddaughters Kali Christine (Grisham) Minturn and her husband, Ronald; Erica Taylor Patterson of Minnesota; and Jordan Nicole (Bressman-Grisham) Blackburn and her husband, Stephen, all of Omaha; greatgrandchildren Connor, Bailey and Wynter Suzanne Minturn, and Carter, Reilly and Milo Blackburn.Pat is also survived by her mother, Hazel Mauk, aged nearly 101, along with sister, Rita Morgan, both of Augusta, Kansas; and a brother, Russel (Rusty) Mauk and his wife, Kim, of Lake Havasu, Arizona.

A memorial fund has been established in Pat's honor at Pinnacle Bank in Omaha and Fremont.A portion of the proceeds will go to establishing educational funds for all six of her greatgrandchildren.

The family will receive visitors on Thursday, May 25, 2017 from 5:00pm-7:00pm at Community of Grace Church, 3434 N. 204th Street, Elkhorn, Nebraska.Funeral service will take place at the church beginning at 7:00pm.

Interment will be private at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Omaha.
