Patricia L Howard's Obituary
Patricia Louise Howard, age 76, of Fremont, passed away Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at Providence Place in Fremont.
Pat was born in Wayne, Nebraska, on September 13, 1939, to Leonard and Helen (Christensen) Denkinger. She attended school at Wayne Prep and Wymore before graduating from Dixon High School in 1957. After high school, she moved to Orchard where she worked as a Linotype operator at the Orchard News. In 1958, she met David Howard. They were married April 5, 1959 in Wayne, NE.They moved to Madison to follow Dave's job. After a short stay they moved to Creighton, winding up in Fremont in 1963. To this marriage were born two sons, Timothy and William.
Pat was an avid reader, excellent quilter, talented craft artist and gardener. She enjoyed spending time with her family and traveling. She was an active member of Fremont Alliance Church where she served in Alliance Women, Prime Timers and AWANAs. Pat was passionate about mission work, and regularly volunteered for many community events such as the Red Cross Blood Mobile, M.O.P.S., and at the hospital. She will be dearly missed by many.
She was preceded in death by her parents and infant daughter.
She is survived by David, her husband of 56 years, sons Timothy (Lora) Howard of Fremont, William (Nancy) Howard of Austin, Texas, grandchildren, Joshua Howard of Kearney, James Howard of Fremont, Nathan, Katie, Karina Howard all of Austin, Texas, brother Bill (Chris) Denkinger of Gretna and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held Thursday, October 22, 2015 from 4:00-8:00 P.M. with family present from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at Dugan Funeral Chapel.
Funeral Service will be Friday, October 23, 2015 at 10:00 A.M. at the Fremont Alliance Church with pastor Tom Nevius officiating.
Interment will be at Ridge Cemetery.
