Patsy Ann Rice of North Bend passed away Tuesday August 27, 2013


She is survived by her two sons Terry Lanc of Ottawa, Illinois and Daryl Lanc of North Bend, Nebraska; and, her brother Bob Buchta of Council Bluffs, Iowa. She was preceded in death by her parents John and Blanche Buchta of North Bend and nephew Adam Buchta.

Patsy was born on March 17, 1946 in North Bend where she grew up. She raised her family in various locations in eastern Nebraska. Patsy enjoyed visiting with family and enjoying good company, food, pets, and relaxing.

An informal family gathering will be held in North Bend on Saturday, August 31st from 1 pm to 5pm. Contact Daryl at (402) 618-9350 for directions. Monetary gifts may be donated directly to the American Cancer Society (www.cancer.org at the request of the family.
