Paul D. Brunner, 25 Lincoln Died of a sudden cardiac event in Lincoln on Wednesday, September 20, 2006. He was born December 21, 1980 in Omaha and was raised in Scribner graduating from Scribner High School in 1999. He attended Southeast Community College then transferred to the University of Nebraska at Lincoln where he graduated with a BS in Criminal Justice. Paul was in his final year at the University of Nebraska Law School. He also studied in Cambridge England, did legal work in Chicago, and provided free legal aid in New Orleans for the victims of hurricane Katrina. Paul was Vice President of the Black Law Students Association and was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Westfield, Wisconsin which was the last parish his father served. Survived by: Mother - Marlene Brunner of Fremont 3 sisters-Dawn Larson (husband Jeff) of Yankton, South Dakota Lori Brunner-Buck (husband David) of Omaha Tami Bolden (husband Mike) of Fremont 2 brothers-Joel Brunner of Mayer, Minnesota Mark Brunner of Fremont Grandmother-Alma Meyer of Tampa, Kansas Uncle-Dennis Meyer of Tampa, Kansas 3 neices and 2 nephews He was preceded by his grandparents and his father, Rev. Donald Brunner Services will be Monday September 25, 2006 at Trinity Lutheran Church. Rev. Donald Levenhagen and Rev. Rodney Meske officiating. Visitation will be 3:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Sunday at Lattin-Dugan-Chambers Funeral Chapel with the family present from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. and until 12:00 P.M. Monday.
