Robert G. "Bob" Fink age 64 of Fremont passed away on Monday May 19, 2014 at Methodist Hospital in Omaha. Robert was born in Pawnee City, Nebraska, on August 17, 1949 to Wilbur and Betty (Buerstetta) Fink. He attended and graduated from Pawnee City High School in 1967. He attended the CE School of Commerce where he received an Associates Degree in Business. He enlisted in the United States Navy attended the naval music academy and was accepted in the navy band. He served on the USS Enterprise and USS Ranger and was based in San Diego and the Phillipines. He served his entire duty as a member of the band. Following his service, he went to work for Lance Vending as a route vendor. He later moved to Fremont and began working at Frito Lay. Bob married Jean (Morton) on February 29, 1980. Their son, Michael was born in 1981.

Bob joined the Pathfinder Chorus in 1988, and traveled with the group to Russia in 2000. He enjoyed playing in the Blair and North Bend Community Bands, and loved to drive his 1966 Ford Fairlane convertible in parades. He was a board member of the Dodge County Humane Society, and a volunteer for Camp Fontenelle He was an instructor for the Dale Carnegie courses, and a member of the VFW. In addition, Bob was a founding member of the Fremont Area Relay For Life. Bob retired from Frito Lay in 2006.

Bob is preceded in death by his father Wilbur Fink.

Bob is survived by his wife Jean, son Michael (Jill) of Omaha, Mother Betty of Pawnee City, brother David (Susan) Fink of Fremont, sister Ruth (David) Allsbrook of San Diego, 2 grand children Nicholas and Nathan, and numerous nieces, nephews, friends and family.

Visitation will be Thursday May 22, 2014 at Dugan Funeral Chapel from 4-8 with family present from 6-8.
Funeral Services will be Friday May 23, 2014 at First United Methodist Church at 2:00pm with Chaplain Scott Jensen and Rev. Michael McGregor officiating.
Interment will be Saturday May 24, 2014 at Tecumseh Cemetery at 10:30a.m.

Memorials to be designated by the family.
