Robert D. Hansen, age 56, passed away at his home surrounded by his family, after a 3 ½ year long battle with cancer.

Robert attended school in Fremont at St. Pat's and attended Fremont High School until 9th grade. He worked for Campbells, Go-lite, Plumbfields, Stormor, and Valmont. He worked at Valmont for 37 years in the maintenance department.

Robert enjoyed family and friends, racquetball, camping, running, bike riding, and most of all drag racing. He had been drag racing since 1970.

Memorials have been established to St. Timothy's Lutheran Church and the Dodge County Humane Society.
