Robert L. Kuhr, age 87, of Scribner, passed away Wednesday, December 13, 2017, surrounded by his family at Hooper Care Center.

Born in Blair on December 5, 1930, Robert previously lived in Blair and Arlington. Robert served his country in the United States Army from 1950-1953. During his life, Robert was a farmer, trucker, business owner and contractor.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents Harvey and Minnie, sister Marlene, Ruth Kuhr and son Mitchell Kuhr.

He is survived by his wife Barbara, children Patty Mullin (Leonard TenEyck) of Fremont, Melinda (Terry) Folkerts of Georgetown, Texas, Robert (Erin) Kuhr of Fremont, Kathleen (CJ) Coartney of Nickerson, grandchildren Shantell, Jake, Hollie, Colby, Zach and Seth, great-grandchild Preston and much adored cat Marvin.

The family asks in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to the Dodge County Humane Society.

Visitation will be held Sunday, December 17, 2017, at Dugan Funeral Chapel from 6-8PM. Funeral service will be Monday, December 18, 2017 at Dugan Funeral Chapel at 10AM. Burial will follow in Ridge Cemetery.
