Robert L. Pawling, 61

Died at his home in Scottsdale, Arizona on Monday.

He was born to the late Marie and Maynard Pawling September 13, 1948 in Fremont and was raised here graduating from Fremont High School in 1966. He graduated from Midland College in 1970 and then worked for Flynn and Larsen International until moving to Scottsdale in 1986 where he was employed by Sanderson Ford and the Freightliner Truck Dealership.

Robert Pawling married Colleen Schneider June 20, 1970 in Fremont.

He was Past President of the Fremont Golf Club and a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Fremont and Redeemer Lutheran Church in Scottsdale.

He is survived by his wife Colleen, sons Ryan Pawling (wife Ali) of Brooklyn, New York and Andrew Pawling (wife Iva) of Laguna Beach, California. Two brothers, Brian Pawling (wife Gail) of Lincoln and Allen Pawling (wife Jakie) of Cherry Hill, New Jersey and one sister, Sharon Mattson (husband Reed) of Fremont. Ten nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held Monday December 28, at 3:00 P.M. in Scottsdale, Arizona at Redeemer Lutheran Church. Memorial Services will also be held Thursday December 31, at 10:00 A.M. at Trinity Lutheran Church. Rev. Daniel Heuer officiating. A memorial has been established at both churches. Interment of the cremains will be in Memorial Cemetery.
