Robert L. Preston, 75FremontDied at University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha Saturday morning May 23, 2009.He was born January 31, 1934 at Grand Island, Nebraska to Philip and Estell Preston and graduated from Grand Island High School in 1951.Bob served in the U.S. Army from 1956 to 1958 and then lived in Lyons and Norfolk before moving to Fremont in 1964.He was employed by Northwestern Bell Telephone and then was in independent farm supply sales until his retirement.Robert Preston married Loradel Holt February 14, 1954 at Scotia, Nebraska.He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Toastmasters and Fremont Lodge #15 A.F. & A.M.He also enjoyed woodworking, computers, and gardening.He is survived by his wife Lori, three daughters;Kim Woitaszewski (husband Dennis) of Wood River, Nebraska and their two children, Sam and Shelby both at home; Michele Larsen (husband John) of Fremont and their four children, Mallory of Bellevue, Meredith of Dallas, Texas, John Preston (J.P.) and Jack at home;Shari DeMaro (husband Bruce)of Olathe, Kansas and their three children, Taylor, Hannah, and Ryley all at home; .One Sister Nancy Hester (husband Wayne) of Lincoln, Nebraska.Memorial Services will be Friday at 11:00 at the First United Methodist Church.Rev. Ron Croom officiating.There will be no visitation.Interment of the Cremains will be at Memorial Cemetery.There has been a memorial established to the First United Methodist Church.
