Rose Ann Jensen, age 80, passed away Tuesday, June 21, 2016, at Dunklau Gardens.

Rose A. Jensen was born August 23, 1935, to Einar G. and Marjorie (Mary) Carlson in Ewing, Nebraska.She was baptized and confirmed at St. Matthews Lutheran Church in Cedar Bluffs, Nebraska.She has resided in Fremont since 1942 and was a graduate of Fremont High School in 1953.

Rose married Lauren V. Jensen at St. Matthews Lutheran Church on September 18, 1955.She worked at the Dodge County Community Hospital (now Fremont Health) and the former Fremont Care Center (now Nye Point).She was a certified nursing assistant in the care of the elderly.
Rose will be remembered for her love of her granddaughters and for her love of the outdoors and the beauty it offered with the changing seasons.She enjoyed wildlife and working in her flower gardens.Her appreciation for all music, especially classical, will long be remembered by her family as well as her love for books and her inner desire to write.Her family will always appreciate the courage it took for her to gather together her father's memorabilia from the Titanic and write about his experience and survival of one of the greatest sea disasters.The article was published in a 1994 issue of the Titanic Commutator.

Granddaughters Mary Beth (Chris) Chada of North Platte, Melissa (Clay) Nielsen of Palmyra, Abby Jensen of Papillion.
Great-Grandson Corbin Neilsen (Her sweet cheeks) of Palmyra
