Fremont
Died at Merrick Manor Thursday night. She was born September 30, 1913 near Hooper, Nebraska and was raised there attending Sohl School on the Scribner-Herman Road. Ruth moved to Ainsworth in the mid 1930's and married Daniel O'Connell November 20, 1947 in Ainsworth, Nebraska. He died July 17, 1971. She lived on a Ranch near Wood Lake, Nebraska before moving to Valentine in 1963 and then to Fremont in 1972.
She is survived by one daughter; Annette Timperley (husband Kenneth Jr.) of Fremont, one sister; Eunice Shepard of Fremont; 4 grandchildren, John, Katie, Lisa, and Michelle; and five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son and an identical twin sister.
Graveside services will be Wednesday at 10:00 A.M. at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Valentine. Visitation will be Monday from 3:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. with the family present from 6:00 to 8:00 at Dugan Funeral Chapel.
