Sandra K. Peterson, age 73, passed away Tuesday, January 12, 2016, at the University of Nebraska Medical Center.


Sandra was born February 8, 1942 to Louise (Byrnes) and Chester Isgrig in Lincoln.She graduated from Lincoln Southeast High School in 1960.She then attended the College of St. Mary's in Omaha and received her training at St. Elizabeth's Hospital School of Radiological Technology in 1962.Sandra K. Isgrig married Tom Peterson in Lincoln on January 26, 1963.They moved to Fremont and Sandra began working in the medical community and at the Fremont hospital until retiring after over 20 years in 1993.

Sandy was a Chapter EX member of PEO since 1992, a member of the Foster Care Review Board for over 10 years, served 2 terms on the Vestry at St. James Episcopal Church, she had been a member of the St. James Altar Guild since the early 1980's and served as the Directoress since 1989.She became involved with the May Museum Garden in 1982 and has led the group since 1999.She was a member of multiple bridge clubs, a member of the Fremont Rod and Gun Club and she loved the Snake River and all things pertaining to nature.

Son Matthew (Shana) Peterson of Beaumont, TX

Daughter Anne (Mike) Robb of Duluth, MN

Grandchildren Caleb and Allison Peterson and Lucy and Alex Robb

Sister Nancy (Michael) Murphy of Castle Rock, WA
