Shirley Ann Torgerson

April 28, 1938 – November 21, 2022

On Monday, November 21, 2022, Shirley Ann Torgerson our beloved mother passed away
peacefully in her home.  She was born in Rhodes, Iowa and grew up in Newton, Iowa until age 13 when the family moved to Valley, NE.   Shirley and Eugene moved away from Fremont a few times but always found their way back. Shirley was a homemaker her entire life and a devoted wife, she loved playing cards and was active in the local VFW auxiliary.

Shirley was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Eugene Torgerson and daughter Diane Cady who had passed away earlier this year.

She is survived by 3 sons, Robert of Fremont Ne., Richard and his wife Cathy of Kansas City Mo, and Gerald and his wife Vickie of Wichita KS.

Funeral Service will be held at Dugan Funeral Chapel on Friday, December 2, 2022 at 1:00 pm.
