Sorine Elma Mae Abildgaard
April 30, 1938 ~ August 6, 2023

Sorine passed away on August 6, 2023 at Methodist Fremont Health Hospital.  She was born on April 30, 1938 to Neils and Laura (Kuester) Abildgaard. She graduated from the Geneva Home for girls.  Sorine worked at times as a bartender, waitress and in a bakery. She was married 3 times and had 5 children.

Sorine had many hobbies.  She enjoyed leather work, making jewelry and rock hunting.  She also collected coins and stamps.  Sorine was a member of the Salvation Army for many years.  She was also a member and sponsor in AA for several years.

Sorine was preceded in death by her parents, Neils and Laura (Kuester) Abildgaard; sister, Janice Abildgaard Collinge; brother, Raymond Abildgaard and son, Jeff Hinsley.

She is survived by her daughters, Karen Malone (Randy Short), Debra (Mark) Jensen, Veronica (Tim) Jensen; son, Ronald (Tricia) Hineman; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, August 10, 2023, 1:00PM at Dugan Chapel and a celebration of life at Big Red Keno for anyone that would like to join the family.

Memorials suggested to the family for future designation.
