Steven Brewer's Obituary
Steven Brewer, age 63, of Fremont passed away Friday, February 6, 2015 at his home.
Steven was born March 5, 1951 to Harold and Georgiana (Drews) Brewer in Fremont. He attended and graduated from Fremont high school. After high school he entered the workforce. He married Clara Sue Barton on June 6, 1970.In 1985, he and Sue became foster parents to many children over the years. He worked for Hunt Transportation in Omaha for 20 years before retiring.
He was very passionate about his airboat and proudly involved with the East Wind Hunt Club. Steve enjoyed coaching many youth sports teams over the years, and was named coach of the year. He was an avid hunter and spent alot of time in the duck blind with his buddies. Steve was even featured in the NebraskaLand magazine for finding an Egyptian goose, the only one ever to be found in Nebraska! He was a member of Ducks Unlimited, Fremont AirBoat Club, Low Plains Waterfowl Association, and the NRA. Steve was a kind hearted man who was always there to help anyone at anytime. He will be greatly missed.
He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents and best friend Donnie Klahn.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years Clara (Sue), daughters Alicia (Chad) Wagner of Fremont, Barbara Christensen of Fremont, sons Mike (Angela) Brewer of Olathe, Kansas, Troy Brewer of Fremont, brothers John (Cheryl) Brewer of Columbus,Greg (Lisa) Brewer of Kinnelon, NewJersey, 20 grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Memorials may be directed to the family or Mosaic.

Visitation will be held Sunday, February 8, 2015 from 4-8 P.M. with family present from 6-8 P.M. at Dugan Funeral Chapel.
Funeral Service will be Monday, February 9, 2015 at 10:00 A.M. at Dugan Funeral Chapel with Chaplin Scott Jensen officiating. Inurnment will take place at a later date.
