Steve Parsons Sr

March 5, 1954 - February 25, 2023

Born and raised in Saunders County, NE to Catherine and Theodore Parsons Sr.  Graduated from Mead High School, and started a family in Mead, NE with Susan Estler.  They raised three children Stevie, Wayne, and Stephanie in Mead, NE.  Steve was part of the Mead Volunteer Fire Department.  He worked hard and always stayed busy with his side hustles and his children.  He was known by a lot of people for how generous he was to anyone in need, knowing he could just find a way to make up the cost so his family didn't go without.  If you wanted to find him it was always outside, he wasn't one to sit around the house.  A few of his favorite hobbies were auctions, fishing, amusement parks and collecting glass sets.

Steve is preceded in death by his grandparents, Harvey and Eva Schultz; his mother, Catherine Parsons; brother, Duane Parsons and son, Steven Parsons Jr.

Steve is survived by his son, Wayne Parsons and three children Riley, Elliott, and Liyah.  Daughter and son-in-law Stephanie and Jeremiah Taylor and five children Emma Strong, Damien Kackmeister, Joslynn, Racheal, and Alexander.  Great-grandchildren Olivia and Luka Strong.  Brothers Bob and Ted, sister Neva, as well as several nieces and nephews.
