Sylvester D. (Bob) Epp, 87

Died Monday May 13, 2013 at Select Specialty Hospital in Omaha. He was born April 11, 1926 in Hernderson, Nebraska where he ws raised and graduated from high school in 1944. Following graduation he entered the U.S. Army and served in Germany during WWII. He returned to the University of Nebraska in Lincoln and then graduated from the St. Louis College of Mortuary Science. In 1948 Bob married Betty Bacon. He served in the Navy during the Korean conflict. He was a funeral director in Omaha prior to moving to Fremont in 1974 where he worked for Dugan Funeral Chapel until his retirement in 1995. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church.

Bob married Helen Hancock in Omaha February 23, 1974. She died January 10, 2013.

He is survived by two daughters, Candy Moyer (husband Bob) of Lincoln and Megan Wilson (husband Louie) of Omaha and one son Kim Epp of Lincoln. Three sisters, Geraldine Friesen of Henderson, Nebraska and Eilene Janssen and Jane Hirschberger both of Newton, Kansas; One brother Dennis Epp of Henderson, Nebraska; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Memorial services will be Friday at 10:30 A.M at Dugan Funeral Chapel. Rev. Earl Underwood officiating. A memorial has been established to the Presbyterian Church. Condolences may be left at www.duganchapel.com. There will be a private burial at Memorial Cemetery.
