Tanner D. Schatz, age 23, passed away Saturday, June 4, 2011, at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, following a brief illness.

Tanner was born in Ihri City, South Korea, and was adopted when he was 4 months old by his loving parents Dee Kohl and Monte Schatz.He was raised in Fremont and graduated in 2006 from Fremont High School.Tanner was extremely gifted with computers and electronics and enjoyed working with them so much that he was majoring in the IT field at Metro Community College.

Tanner enjoyed fishing and the outdoors, loved sports and lettered in football at Fremont High School.He liked playing video games and was a proud Green Bay Packers fanatic.
