Terry Dean Boeck's Obituary
Terry D. Boeck, age 68, of Fremont passed away Friday December 20, 2013 at his home.
Terry was born February 26, 1945 to William and Betty (Olsen) Boeck in Harlan, Iowa. He graduated from Harlan high school in 1962. After high school he went to Dana where he earned his bachelor's degree. Terry taught Social Studies at Fremont Junior High School for 33 years before his retirement. While teaching he received his Masters Degree from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln. Terry also authored a book called The Townbuilders (a history of Fremont) which was used in the 4th grade curriculum at Fremont.
Terry Boeck married Dixie Havick June of 1967 in Harlan, Iowa.
Terry was the president for the Fremont Anglers Association for several years. He was nominated for the Who's Who among American Teachers. Terry also coached the Fremont Jr. High football and wrestling teams for many years. He also did taxes in the Fremont area for many years. Terry and Dixie also had an antique business called Yesteryear Antiques.
Terry enjoyed camping, fishing, restoring antique toys, and working in his garden. He was especially proud of the '58 Chevy he restored with his brother. He had a strong passion for antiques, and loved his pets.
He is preceded in death by his father William Boeck, and his grandparents.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years Dixie, daughters Leah and Brian Dinoso of Ceder Bluffs, and Tricia and Jon Kruse of Ceder Bluffs. Grandchildren Sydney and Nathan, Jake and Taylor, Benjamin, Kyle, Jaymison and 1 Great-grandson Kuper. His mother Betty, 3 brothers, and 1 sister, and many nieces, nephews, and loved ones.

Visitation will be Thursday, December 26, 2013 from 4-8 PM with family present from 6-8 at Dugan Funeral Chapel.
Services will be held Friday December 27, 2013 at 11:00am at the Fremont Alliance Church with Pastor Tom Nevius officiating.
Interment will be at Ridge Cemetery.
