Vera May Woods, 101 Died at Fremont Area Medical Center Tuesday morning. She was born December 7, 1904 at Emosdale, Kansas where she was raised. She graduated from Washington County High School in 1920 and then lived in Hastings, Nebraska before moving to Fremont. Vera Haukenberry married Milton Woods January 28, 1942 at Los Angeles, California. He died January 10, 1976. Services will be Friday at 11:00 A.M. at Lattin-Dugan-Chambers Funeral Chapel. Rev. Terri Akkerman officiating. A memorial has been established to the Fremont Area Community Foundation. Visitation will be from 8:00 A.M. to service time Friday.
