Verna Anderson, 89, of Boise Idaho, formerly of Fremont, died April 13, 2011 at Grace Care Facility. She was born May 20, 1921 to Gustave Anthony and Katherine (Thiesen) Anthony in Cedar Bluffs. She married Lester T. Anderson on May 29, 1939. They lived most of their life in Fremont where Verna was confirmed in the Lutheran faith at Trinity Lutheran Church. She remained a faithful member of the congregation.
She was preceded in death by her husband, three brothers and one sister. Her surviving sister, Elaine Anderson lives in Casa Grande AZ.
Other survivors include daughters Sharon Anderson and Ilona Fellows, both of Ogden, UT and Diane (Mrs. Dennis) Landers of Boise, Idaho, 6 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandson.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 Tuesday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Fremont. Visitation will be Monday from 3:00-8:00 at Dugan Funeral Chapel. Memorials are suggested to Trinity Lutheran Church. Dugan Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
