Virginia E. Settje

Virginia was born on April 18, 1929 to Myron and Doris (Mileham) Bodell in Fremont, NE. She graduated from Fremont High School in 1947 and attended Midland College for 2 years and was a member of Phi Alpha sorority.

Virginia married Allen Settje on September 6, 1953 at Salem Lutheran Church in Fremont, they later divorced.

Virginia was employed as a secretary at the former Nebraska Savings and Loan in Fremont.  She also worked at Midland Lutheran College in the telephone office retiring in 2007.

Virginia is preceded in death by her parents, Myron and Doris Bodell.

She is survived by her son, Mark A. Settje of Evans, CO.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 20, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Dugan Funeral Chapel.

A graveside service will be held at Ridge Cemetery on September 20, 2023 beginning at 12:30 PM.
