Willis W. Faux, 72 Fremont Died at his home Thursday morning. He was born September 30, 1934 at Winterset, Iowa where he was raised. He graduated from Winterset High School in 1950 and farmed until joining the United State Air Force where he recieved the Distinguished Flying Cross for his service as a pilot in Korea. After five years in the Air Force he returned to Des Moines, Iowa in 1957. He lived in Omaha where he operated Husker Aviation and then Lincoln where he owned LincolnAire. He also worked for Sky Harbor Air Service in Omaha before returning to Des Moines and joining Des Moines Flying Service. He was involved in the Aviation industry for over 50 years. Willis moved to Fremont in 1989. He was a member of the Woodcliff Lions Club, the American Legion, Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association, and the Quiet Birdmen. Willis Faux married Betty Stienike Hatt March 17, 1973 in Omaha. He is Survived by his Wife Betty 2 daughters-Diana Antonucci (husband Pat) of Des Moines; Pamela Webster (husband Mark) of Omaha 2 sons-Gregg Faux (wife Debbie) of Altoona, Iowa; Bradley Hatt (wife Melanie) of Wichita, Kansas 1 sister-Kathy Cunningham of Leon, Iowa 4 brothers-Stanley Faux and Dale Faux of Patterson, Iowa; Thomas Faux of New Boston, Missouri; Jack Faux of Augusta, Georgia Stepmother-Anne Faux of Leon, Iowa 8 grandchildren 1 greatgrandchild Services will be Saturday at 11:30 A.M. at Lattin-Dugan-Chambers Funeral Chapel. Rev. William Lewis officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 3:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. with the family present from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.
