Bill was raised in Fremont and graduated from Fremont High School, the University of Nebraska, and the San Francisco College of Mortuary Science. In 1974, he purchased Lattin-Dugan-Chambers Funeral Chapel and returned to Fremont. He has served on numerous boards in the funeral service profession and is a member of St. James Episcopal Church. Bill has served as a board member and president of numerous civic organizations. Bill and his wife Jane have two sons, Bill C. and Patrick.

Vern was born and raised in California. He worked with Pan American and Delta Airlines for 31 years. He moved to Fremont in 1983. Vern attended Mortuary Science School in Kansas City and became a licensed funeral director in 2000. He serves on several boards and is very active in Kiwanis Club and the Fremont Shrine Club. He is a member of St. James Episcopal Church. Vern and his wife Jane have a son and daughter, and four grandchildren.

He graduated with a Technical degree in agricultural business from the University of Nebraska School of Technical Agriculture and received a Bachelor of Science degree in general agriculture from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Tom brings a wealth of experience in the public relations and marketing fields through ConAgra and Snap-On Tools. He is an advanced planning consultant for Dugan Funeral Chapel and works with families through aftercare services and monument sales. Tom and his wife Gina live in Arlington and have one son, Christian.

She did her internships at the YWCA in Omaha, while working with abused women and a men's batterers group. Jane has studied with Dr. Alan Wolfelt at the Center for Loss and Transition in Ft. Collins taking several classes on grief, mourning, complicated mourning, delayed grief, and children's and teen grief. Jane has taken classes from Dr. Harold Ivan Smith of Kansas City, a bereavement specialist. Jane is a member of ADEC-the Association of Death Education and Counseling, APPT-Association of Private Practice Therapists- of the Omaha area and CHADD-Children and Adults with Attention Deficit Disorder.
